Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Sage & Sea Salt. We are delighted to prepare your order with care and intention from our Taranaki studio.
Processing Time, Shipping Rates, & Delivery Estimates
All orders are processed within 2-4 days. We packed 7 days a week.

Orders are unable to be shipped on Sundays, or delivered on weekends and public holidays in New Zealand.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or expect a significant delay, we will notify you via email.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Estimated Delivery Time 2–4 business days.
Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has been dispatched. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damages and Lost Packages
We are committed to the safe delivery of your products. Please notify us if any issues occur, as your feedback helps us maintain the highest quality of service.
Damages: We take great care in packaging your products, but if your order arrives damaged, please notify us immediately. Please contact us at sage.seasalt.nz@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
We will review the evidence to determine if the damage was caused by a packaging issue or courier mishandling. We will then guide you through the next steps, which may involve issuing a replacement or filing a claim with the courier on your behalf.

Photographs of the packaging (including the box/satchel and internal materials).
Loss/Theft (Missing Parcel):

If your parcel is lost in transit (tracking has stalled): Please notify us so we can initiate an investigation with the courier.

If your parcel is marked 'Delivered' but is missing (theft): Please contact us at sage.seasalt.nz@gmail.com immediately so we are aware of the issue. We highly recommend checking with neighbours and your local delivery branch first. We will then advise you on how to proceed with the courier's formal inquiry process.
While Sage & Sea Salt is not liable for theft once delivery is confirmed, we will provide all necessary documentation to support your claim with the courier.
Incorrect Shipping Address
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the package. We are unable to provide a refund for the original shipping costs in this situation.
